Unity 2D Game Development Cookbook is the title of my last book for Packt Publishing.
It is a practical manual consisting of more than 50 hands-on recipes to create actual games using Unity, the most popular game engine today. The manual teaches how to create a 2D platform game prototype using 3D assets and covers everything from importing models, animations and textures into Unity, configuring animations with the Mecanim system, using prefabs to create game assets, take advantage of physics and designing the game interface and HUD.
I worked hard on this book to deliver an optimal collection of quick recipes to make my readers capable of explointng the best features of Unity 4 and 5.
